Ice Box/ Engine Flush

Hey guys. Just wanted to let you in on a trick you might or might not be aware of. We dry-sail an E32 in NW FL (salt water). During a rebuild we added a tee in the engine cooling water pick up hose. Installed a shut off valve and plaumbed it into the drain of the ice box. Once on the trailer, we run the inboard with the outside intake intake closed and the ice box drain valve open. Flushes the engine with fresh water, and drains the box. Works like a charm! Any thoughts would be appreciated.
