I was riffling through some 30-year-old Yachting magazines recently and there, in the "New Designs" section, was a Pointin 29 (just like my boat "Pamela") but with a huge 3 or 4 foot "sugar scoop" addition to the transom. The article stated that this was added on to qualify it for the minimum length restriction for the Bermuda Race. I wonder if this was ever built, and if so, if it ever raced to Bermuca.
