Zing!arella sold- cradle available

I sold Zing!arella, the new owner had a trailer built for her so the cradle is available free for the hauling! It is a heavy duty steel angle iron cradle with plywood and fiberglass 'bunks'. It's a bit rusty but super stout, heavier than required angle iron with an optional keel support, painting would make it like new again. I took the forward bunk off to refurbish it, that's currently stored indoors. Both plywood and fiberglass bunks need to be rebuilt. Located at Tall Timbers Marina in Southern Maryland.

Congrats on the sale. While you are on this subject can we fill out our data base. What was hull number? Where will she be berthed now?

On the owner database, Pheadra recently sold here in New Orleans. It sold to another young person, which is great. It will be staying here in New Orleans. I will get the full name of the new owner next time I am out there.

Hi all;

I'm the new owner of Zing!arella and thought I'd let you know where she ended up.

I'll be racing her out of Waukegan, IL on Lake Michigan. I hope to be doing beer
cans as well as a few select distance races.

I'm a colleague of Rolf Wagner, who you may have seen some posts from. He's
restoring another E32, Marisol, and we've raced with and against each other for many
years on Lake Michigan.

I'm sure you'll see me posting all sorts of questions about the E32-2 on this board in the
future. Currently, I'm in the middle of converting her from an IB to an OB boat,
and beefing up the keel sump. There's quite a bit of structural work to be done
including some core issues and some stringers that need replacing, as well as
fixing the foredeck hatch, etc. Luckily, I found some indoor heated storage
so I can work on her all winter.

I'm not sure how to figure out the hull number of the Evelyn. The boat was owned
by Rick Loheed (fastcrab) for a while, and I think it's listed as owned by Stovy Brown
before that.

Cheers,
Steve Muchmore

Sorry not to answer- I haven't been to this forum for a while! The boats paperwork all went to Steve, however from my 2011 Chesapeake PHRF application form I listed it is Hull #20, which I remember finding on some of Stovy's paperwork. The HID I have listed on the receipt from MD DNR is FMU032320984-2. It is true it was Stovy Brown's boat before me.

I think it is a great move to go outboard.

The cradle is still available! Free if you come get it.
