I am helping a friend with his 1984 Evelyn 32.2. It is leaking where the sump connects into the hull and has been for several years. it was sitting on the trailer with the keel not resting on the keel platform I noticed the keel swayed side to side. The keel and the sump is literally swaying side to side. The boat has been sitting in the water for many years but was recently put on her trailer I'm new to the Evelyn but I am assuming that it isn't normal for the keel and sump to move and is likely the result of rot. Has anyone experienced this happening to the Evelyn and any suggestions on how to repair it.

When I got 'Leanne' from Annapolis, it had a similar issue.
The keel was down almost 1/4" at aft edge of hull joint and
It wiggled from side to side about 3" at the bottom tip.
We ground down to glass all around, placed a jack under the keel
Placed 5200 up in the crack and proceeded to West System Epoxy
2 layers of 18oz Carbon fiber and 2 layers of 24oz Bi Axial E glass
Staggering widths until approx 10" up and down from hull joint.
Seem to do the trick.

Where is the boat located? What hull number is it?
