A-sail setup

Since selling my Evelyn 32-2, I've crewed on a bunch of A-sail boats (J-105, J-120, J-111). In my opinion, A-sail boats are much easier to sail from a crew perspective. I now have an opportunity to buy another Evelyn 32 and it got me thinking... Has anyone ever added a bow sprit and sailed one with an A-sail instead of a sym. spin? I wondering what kind of ratings adjustment there would be for this, how the boat would handle a large A-sail (would it need a bulb on the keel?), and exactly how large one would go on the sprit/A-sail.

Any thoughts?
