Evelyn 32-2 Owner's Manual?

Does any one have a copy of the owner's manual (if there was such a thing) that
came with the boats when they were new?

The reason I ask is that I just found the grease zirks for the rudder (!) while I was
poking around in the back of the boat, and I wondered what other tidbits about the boats
a manual might enlighten me with...

If someone has one, would they be willing to scan it in? Or send me a hard
copy and I'll be glad to oblige.

I am pretty sure one doesn't exist. The zirks are most likely a modification made at some point during the life of the boat. Are they threaded into the fiberglass post?

It looks to me like they were glassed in, not threaded. That's what lead me to beleive that they
were done at the factory, but if no one else has them, you're probably right that they
were added later.

So, anyone else have them? My boat is hull number 32.

I did not have them on my mid-20's hull number E 32-2.

As someone who spent some quality time with my rudder sleeve, below decks, I think what you probably have is an aftermarket installation. That tube isn't too thick (same might be said about myself) so possibly the threads of the zerk penetrated too far into the tube and might've abraded the rubber stock...so, they may have filed off a few mm and then tapped the thread holes, screwed in the zerk and, as a precaution, glassed over whatever part of the zerk that was sticking out on to the sleeve. That is what I would do.
