Finally Racing!

Well, we have one more Evelyn 32 on the scratch sheet. I have done one other race a few weeks ago but some events came up and I wasn't able to sail Zephyr for few weeks. So far, the only race that we were able to compete in was the Douglaston YC Captain Island's race. I just want to say that these boats are fast. For the first half of the race, we were miles ahead of a Swan-42. Had we not parked .25 miles from the finish line with no wind while everyone caught up, 1st place would have been ours. Right now, my crew and I are looking forward to competing in the second half of the American YC fall series. Looks like we will be sailing with Scorpion. Then its off to the MBYC fall series. Anyways,
Looking forward to getting to know everyone.
