Sure looks like S Cape....same boot stripe treatment and sail number. I'll email Randy and ask for the blow-by-blow!

got this from Randy:
-------------
YEP! :-/ A jibe broach i believe. A first for us on SCAPE. ever! The
wind was between 20-30. We put it up at 20 and then a 30 hit us. WOA! The
pole went the water and we turned left, RIGHT THEN. Who said Wednesday
night Beer canraces is cruising around the bouys. LOL

It's pretty interesting that he found that. I think i know the villian that
set us up. LOL. He has sailed on the Evelyn 42 on the lakes
(Michigan)......and sails on Lake Ray Hubbard.

Was the villain Mike Casabom (sp?). Mike is great to sail with on the Macs. I sailed with him 3 times and his sailing knowledge and abilities are matched with his ability to keep everyone on board loose and working hard.

That's him - Hat and all.

My favorite CAZ story is about him getting thrown in the Mac Island lockup after one of his first Macs. They found him "arguing" with the statue that is on the lawn facing the harbor. As CAZ tells it the only boat name he could remember when he was asked was "Chippewa." So the constables found a member of the crew to come "retrieve" CAZ. That was Skip Boston. Skip didn't recognize CAZ and said, "He's not one of mine. Throw him back."

In fact, in the crew photo you posted that's my daughter in the middle of the front row and that's me in the second row (second from the right).
