I just talked to them last week about a couple of things. I didn't ask about the carbon poll price but that price is WAY better then others I was looking at. Yes, they were very helpful on the phone.

I've had 2 Forte poles. They both worked well, the second one is a special one I had Tony make for me, it weighs 4.5 lbs....

I'm not a big fan of the center point set up. With the bridles at the ends you can make the pole MUCH lighter. The trick is to mouse shock cord inside the bridles lines so the slack is pulled out of them when not in tension.
If I were you I'd ask Tony to do it this way. I can let him borrow my pole to copy it, my loft is 5 minutes away. 8)
