Evelyn 25 on Lake Norman

Postby Pterobyte » Mon Sep 12, 2011 11:02 am

I had an opportunity to see up close an Evelyn 25 this weekend. Great lines and well built. the only difference to the 32-2 I could find is that the it has a straight extrusion mast.

As it turns out there are 3 active Evelyns on Lake Norman. My 32, Eddie's 26 and a 25. Here are couple of pictures of the 25 Thumper:

Nice find, Ptero. I love those things, in some ways I wish I'd have found a 25 instead of the 32-2...far less crew hassles!

I agree! Still very tender though I understand, but it needs fewer bodies on the rail. I think Bob's formula was
25' = 3 on the rail
32' = 6 on the rail
42' = 12 on the rail, until the Brendan Dobroth mod.
