ORR-ez rating

Mass Bay and Hingham Bay Racing adopted the ORR-ez rating system in 2019. STATIC is a stock E32 with no modifications other than an Asym which we tack to a pole that is deck mounted. As a result of the new rating we are forced to sail with the asym on random leg courses in order to sail to the boats potential. In PHRF we killed it almost every time we sailed. Under ORR-ez it has upped our game, but we have alot more preparation related to wind and tide. Does anyone out there have experience with the switch to ORR-ez? I think many of the boat owners in the northeast are unhappy with the ratings. HBR and BBSA use Regattaman for scoring. Thoughts? - Ted
