Due to huge spam attacks this method is used to make sure you are human and really want to join:

If you can't find the register button, because we turned it off, then follow this procedure and we will get you setup right away.
Go to this page and put in your user name and the reason you want to join. Your request will be reviewed by the admin and you will receive an email once your account has been created.
